About Us

is the brainchild of Phillip Hyde and Mick Scott. Both Phil and Mick are graduates of Writtle Agricultural College, and have completed many specialist courses. Phil also participated in the award winning
Private Entertainer garden at the 2003 Hampton Court Palace (see the Hampton Court page), and have gone on to create their own unique brand of stylish and practical garden designs. Mick Scott spent 12 months working extensively with a leading landscape construction company, and brings a wealth of experience to the team.

would like to welcome you to our newest member of the team; James Leigh. James graduated from Writtle College, also achieving "Landscape Student of 2004". He joins us from Hilliers Landscapes, part of the Hilliers Nursery Group. He has completed 6 show gardens at Hampton Court, culminating in last years gold medal winning garden for the Daily Mail. He has also worked with Mercedes Benz and Anais-Anais's sensory garden. Prior to this, James worked on Canary Wharf and Bluewater projects for Whillerby's Landscapes.
